Team Pacquiao arrived on a chartered Boeing 757 and immediately proceeded to the Gaylord Texan Hotel in Grapevine, Texas. The hotel is owned by Jerry Jones, who also has ownership interests in the Dallas Cowboys as well as the $1.2 billion Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The Cowboys team also stays at the hotel during home games.
The pound-for-pound king's chartered flight cost close to a hundred thousand dollars, and flew in over a hundred members of his entourage, family members, boxing trainers, Filipino lawmakers, and various friends.
The 'fighting congressman' from Sarangani province has a showdown with Antonio "Tijuana Tornado" Margarito (38-6) of Mexico on November 13 at Cowboys Stadium.
